wetlands (sort of)

Sony A7 R111

Well Covid-19 pandemic has been and (more or less) gone, the River Murray has gone from drought to being in flood in the autumn of 2023, and I’ve made no further road trips to work on this project since 2019. There are no more planned for the next 6 weeks or so as Suzanne has broken her left ankle slipping on mud on her morning walk to Rosetta Head in Victor Harbor.

I had planned to go on a roadtrip to the Chowilla Game Reserve in the Riverland in the last week in June, but that had to be cancelled due to Suzanne’s broken ankle being in a moon boot. As she is laid up for six weeks I’m walking the poodles morning and night.

Here is a photo from my last roadtrip in 2019 for this project:

Wetlands, Overland Corner

This is the wetlands at Overland Corner in South Australia. I camped there overnight. I remember it like yesterday. I was surprised that this happened in 2019. My memory was that it was much latter — after the Covid pandemic.
